Terms of Service
Effective: August 25, 2026
1. Service and eligibility
Japanese Release Readiness Audit is a business-to-business professional review service provided by STUDIO HEUREKA. It is intended for game and software teams acting for commercial or professional purposes. The selected plan, the landing-page scope, these Terms, and any written intake confirmation form the service agreement.
2. Purchase and start of work
- Payment is collected in advance as a one-time purchase through Stripe Checkout.
- STUDIO HEUREKA contacts the email address entered at checkout within one business day to confirm intake, access, scope, and timing.
- Work starts only after complete materials are received and STUDIO HEUREKA confirms in writing that the custom review has started.
- If the submitted scope does not fit the purchased plan, work pauses until a revised scope is accepted or a refund is issued.
3. Client responsibilities
You must have the right to share all submitted materials and must provide enough source text, screen context, platform information, and access instructions to perform the audit. Do not send credentials or confidential files until access, retention, and deletion terms are agreed in writing.
4. Deliverables and limitations
The deliverables are those stated for the purchased plan. Pilot includes up to 20 prioritized findings, annotated screenshots, an English PDF, and suggested wording or layout direction. Full includes the stated Pilot deliverables, cross-screen terminology and tone review, a preventive checklist, and one async recheck. The service does not include full translation, code implementation, functional QA, legal advice, age-rating review, voice recording, or a guarantee of approval, sales, reviews, or market performance.
5. Intellectual property and confidentiality
You retain ownership of your project materials. After full payment, you may use the delivered audit and suggested copy within your project and internal workflow. STUDIO HEUREKA retains its underlying methods and reusable templates. Project materials and deliverables are not made public or used as portfolio work without written permission.
6. Schedule and communication
Any stated turnaround begins only after complete materials arrive. Delays caused by missing materials, changed access, or late clarification responses extend the schedule. Communication and delivery are asynchronous by email unless agreed otherwise.
7. Cancellation, refunds, and liability
The Cancellation & Refund Policy applies. To the extent permitted by applicable law, STUDIO HEUREKA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Any direct liability relating to the service is limited to the amount paid for the affected order.
8. Changes and contact
The Terms presented at checkout apply to that order. Customers can contact STUDIO HEUREKA by replying to the outreach, order-confirmation, or intake email associated with the order.
